NEH-Funded History Institute run by AAHN member on Disease, Pandemics, and Public HealthMarian Moser Jones, a loyal AAHN member and a historian of nursing, benevolent institutions, and public health, is running a summer institute this summer at Ohio State for scholars/teachers interested in teaching the histories of disease, pandemics, and public health in the U.S. All attendees receive a stipend to cover costs. They aim to create an interdisciplinary community of historians and health scholars who are teaching undergraduate courses and units on the histories of disease, medicine, and health, especially in the U.S. It would be great to have some nursing scholars/nursing history scholars among our participants! The deadline for applying is March 3. Find out more and apply here: https://u.osu.edu/healthhistories/ |
